Louis’ Noodle Soup

Louis Noodle Soup

Noodle Soup is a staple in every culture throughout history and Noodle soup is believed to having healing properties as well as non-noodle soups as the water and stock within the soup actually helps the body heal and regenerate both within and outside of itself.

The Ingredients I include in my Noodle Soup are:

  1. 250g Protein (Chicken, Beef, Tofu, Spinach, Kale)
  2. Hot Water
  3. 1 Cube/One Cup of Stock (Chicken, Beef, Vegetable)
  4. 150ml of Gravy (Only if required)
  5. Tomato, Mashed into pieces
  6. Four Lettuce Leaves
  7. Two Teaspoons of Sweet Soy Sauce
  8. Two Teaspoons Dark Soy Sauce
  9. One Teaspoon oyster Sauce
  10. Half A Teaspoon of Fish Sauce
  11. One teaspoons of Rosemary
  12. Two Star Anise
  13. One Teaspoon of Basil
  14. Half a Teaspoon Cumin
  15. One Teaspoon of Salt
  16. One Teaspoon of Pepper
  17. One Teaspoon of Garlic
  18. Two Teaspoons of Ginger
  19. Two Dashes of Oil to Cook the Vegetable and protein
  20. 250g of any noodles (Angel pasta, Ramen. Etc.)

Instructions

  1. Cook the herbs and spices in a pan with oil on the stove
  2. Cook the noodles in a pot with water on the stove,
  3. Mash the Tomatoes together to make a paste and put to the side
  4. Add a dash of oil and begin cooking the protein with the lettuce and herbs and spices,
  5. While the protein is cooking, place the stock cube and gravy in a mug and place some hot water in the cup and stir until mixed together,
  6. Place the sauces in the pan with the protein,
  7. Remove the Noodles from the stove and drain them,
  8. After the protein is cooked, place the noodles, stock, gravy, and lettuce into the pan, and boil for five minutes.
  9. Turn the stove off and allow the soup cool down and then serve!
