Louis’ Simple Fairy Houses

Louis at Poet of the Star also enjoys creating homemade and simple items from everyday items and easy to access items!

Acknowledging the Fae is an incredible experience and one which must be done with the utmost respect and acknowledgement of the Fae as beings in the Spiritual realm and not as something to be controlled and tied down.

Check out Louis’ post about Fae Magick and Rules regarding the Fae to know more!

All Magicks which try to hold a fae down and harm them for selfish gains and without reason build up your own karma.

To create the Simple Fairy House, all you need is:

  1. 20 to 70 Popsicle Sticks depending on the house you plan to make
  2. Glue and a glue gun
  3. Paper
  4. Newspaper
  5. Shells
  6. Adult Supervision for younger people and children who are creating the Simple Fairy House!

And that is all!

Instructions:

  1. Place the popsicles into seven sections – one for the four walls of the house, the floor, and the two sections for the roof.
  2. Carefully lay some newspaper and paper down on the table and if needed, heat up the glue gun.
  3. Line the Popsicles up and begin gluing them together side by side in the seven sections.
  4. For the roof, make sure to glue them together in a triangle for the roof!
  5. After you have glued all the pieces together in seperate sections, allow them to dry.
  6. After a couple of hours, begin gluing the houses together to create the walls and use the newspaper and paper to create extra strength for the popsicles.
  7. Then carefully glue the floor to the house doing the same with the paper.
  8. Then glue and angle the roof to the walls of the house to make sure they are held down and angled properly, working with the paper to balance the roof and make sure it is sturdy.
  9. Let the glue on the house to harden
  10. Then place the Fae house whereever you desire! Just make sure it is not in the way of any water as though the glue will stick, the paper may not!
